Message From The President 20/10/2017

Lukas Hinder and Thomas Bach © IOC Thomas Bach, the President of the International Olympic Committee, addresses the YOG athletes with a #1YearToGo message.

Maybe the origins of breaking's participation can be traced back to declaration which President Bach made to the German press in the lead-up to his election back in 2013.

"I can well imagine that a gymnast and a hip hopper will first meet at the Youth Olympic Games.

"Why shouldn't a hipp hopper or a skateboarder not show his or her tricks jointly with the gymnasts in the same arena?"
