22/12/2023 read more ...Even some 50 years later, one can easily make out that FIBA 3x3 basketball and breaking evolved from the same culture and that they share traits which set them apart from the traditional game and other forms of dancing.
The common ground was emphasised by the International Basketball Federation, FIBA, and the World DanceSport Federation, WDSF, when the two governing bodies had their "urban" disciplines feature side-by-side in a FIBA 3x3 World Tour event.
This happened for the first time ever on 25 August 2017 in the Olympic Capital Lausanne, SUI, and it received general acclaim. The post-event report on the premiere will be published shortly. For the time being, we recommend you watch the final of the International Breaking Competition which brough the first day of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Masters Lausanne to a conclusion with the hard-fought battle between B-Boy Ciska and B-Boy Pluto.
